Small Business Podcasts for Entrepreneurs

As many small business owners know, there is a difference between a genuine entrepreneur and what some call a want-repreneur. Many entrepreneurs choose self-education in lieu of traditional higher education because much of what one learns in business is through experiencing it, rather than reading about it. Starting, maintaining, and growing a business is catalyzed by many variables of success and failure. With that said, podcasts are a very under-rated tool for entrepreneurs whom educate themselves – learning from those who have been there and done that, is very beneficial to someone who is currently going through the highs and lows of starting a small business.

The following podcasts will shed light on the ups and downs of starting your own business, while providing some insight and encouragement for the self-educating entrepreneur:

The #AskGaryVee Show Podcast

Gary Vaynerchuk is a two-time New York Times bestselling author and entrepreneur who at age 12 was making thousands selling baseball cards at his local mall. He then turned his father’s wine company from a $3 million business to $45 million with his online marketing strategies. His podcast is a continuation of his YouTube success, where he interviews celebrities and heavy hitters in the marketing industry about their journey to success.

“Content is King, but Context is God”

– Gary Vaynerchuk

Small Business Unstuck

Hosted by Barry Moltz, an entrepreneur with 15 years of successes and failures, this podcast helps get small businesses “unstuck”. Barry knows the formula for taking your small business to the next level, when otherwise things may look intimidating.

A podcast series revealing what it’s like to get a business off the ground and profitable, through the positives and negatives associated with entrepreneurialism. In season 1 and 2 the podcast follows one company over many episodes, but season 3 tells stories about many companies all having something in common: needing to pivot. Taking this leap of faith is at the heart of what drives entrepreneurial spirit, and this podcast embodies that spirit entirely.
